Membership

PESDC is registered as a society with the Registry of Society (as of 1st March 1993).

Joining PESDC

Under PESDC's constitution, any lawfully established company carrying on business as a manufacturer in the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan shall be eligible to be an Ordinary Member.

Companies which are not in manufacturer carrying out business in the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan shall be eligible to be an Affiliate Member.

The Entrance Fees payable are RM500 and RM300 for Ordinary Member and Affiliate Member respectively with an Annual Subscription of RM50.

Benefit of PESDC Membership

PESDC is one of the 13 state-supported skills development centres in Malaysia with access to a number of Government or Government agencies funded programmes for which member-companies are prioritized to receive such benefits for their staff.
PESDC is a registered training provider with Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, PSMB and SME Corp. & provide industry-driven training programmes for employees of member-companies.
PESDC provide 20% discount for all member-companies sending their staff to attend any PESDC's public training programs.
Member-companies are given access to PESDC's workshop facilities for research & development works.
Member-companies have priority access to recruit PESDC's graduates as staff.

How to apply for PESDC Membership?

1. Please obtain an application form which is available in MS Word format or PDF; both being in editable format. Please fill in the relevant information in the form (we are most happy to assist you in your application for membership, please just contact us).

2. Please prepare a crossed cheque for the total amount of RM550 (Payee: Perak Entrepreneur and Skills Development Centre) being
    (a) the annual subscription payable in advance (RM50); and
    (b) entrance fee for Ordinary Member (RM500)
     (for Associate Member, the total amount is RM350).

3. Please prepare a copy of each of the relevant company's / business registration document stated below that are certified as true copies (we are required by ROS regulations to obtain from a new member a certified copy of these documents):

For sole proprietor / Partnership: Business Registration Certificate (Form A & D)

For Incorporated Companies: Certified Copy of Incorporation (Form 9, 24, 49)
